Artist Alley Portfolio

What do you need in your portfolio?

(Listen up! This is VERY important if you want to increase your chances of getting into the Artist Alley!)

Your portfolio should show exactly the type of art and products you will be selling. It should show clear pictures of your products and/or artwork. It can also include pictures of your table setup at cons. We have more applicants than we have space for, so be sure to include photos of your best work!

We suggest against including unfinished artwork or “inktober” drawings. If you are not going to sell the art, please do not include it in your portfolio.

You can link us to a portfolio on any if the following:

Tumblr

Send us a link to a Tumblr that is only a portfolio, and not a personal Tumblr. Be sure that all of your pictures fully load in their entirety no matter what your theme is.

DeviantArt

Link us to a folder that is dedicated to your convention portfolio. We will not be selecting any other folders on your account, nor will we be selecting 'See All'. The folder you link us to should include everything you want us to see.

A Personal Website

All of your pictures should load in their entirety on the page you link us to. Any navigation required should be minimal and straightforward.

Etsy / Online Shop

Link us to your page that shows us what you will be selling, not just your profile. All pictures should accurately show your products in their entirety.

Facebook Page

Link us to a photo folder for your convention portfolio, not just your page in general. Be sure it is not a link to a personal Facebook.

Google Doc

Share a Google Doc with us that is dedicated to your convention portfolio. The Doc you share with us should include everything you want us to see.

That should be everything! If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail us at kamiconartists@gmail.com! Good luck!
