That's right! Random Battles are BACK!!
Random Battles will be hosted periodically throughout the con for you all to enjoy!
But wait! What are Random Battles, you ask?
Random Battles is a game played by many congoers at many different cons.
The rules are as such:
Random Battles Rules:
- Two cosplayed congoers are chosen to combat each other.
- The Referee flips a coin to determine which combatant goes first. Generally, Heads is the combatant to the Ref's left; Tails, the right.
- The combatant that goes first calls heads or tails, and a coin is flipped.
- If the combatant calls correctly, he/she gets to attack for 10 Points. If the combatant calls incorrectly, the opponent gets to attack for 10 Points. That is the end of Round 1.
- Round 2 begins.
- The opponent who did not call a coin side in the first round gets to call this round. The same rules apply.
- Combatants continue taking turns calling the coin toss until one of them has been defeated. (see below)
Attacking:
- Combatants start with 30 Health Points each.
- For every attack a combatant takes, they lose 10 Health Points.
- When all Health Points are lost, the combatant is defeated and must leave the combat field.
- The winning combatant stays to battle the next opponent, until he or she is defeated.
- Defeated combatants may still take part in future battles.
