On Friday April 23rd from 7pm-10pm, The Bama SOS Brigade will be teaming up with the UA Anime Club to bring a night of anime to the Ferguson Center Theater!
In addition to being able to hang out with the Brigade and watch some anime, you'll be able to PICK UP YOUR BADGE EARLY!
So if you happen to be in the area Friday, why not come say hi and avoid waiting in lines in the morning?

Some more information for you fine folks today! We've added pages for the Karaoke, Rock Band Tournament, and Speed Friending events! Not much info yet, but stay tuned!
The Ramada Inn near campus is offering a special rate for attendees of Kami-Con! But the rate is for a limited time only! You must book your rooms BEFORE March 23rd!
Also, Kami-Con is looking for Volunteers! We're looking for people to help us out, assist the staff, and keep things running smoothly! Interested? Drop us a line!

Alright, listen up Kami-Conninites! Lots of important updates today.
Only Pre-Registered Congoers will receive a fully colored con booklet (which includes the cover artwork and color-coded map). The rest of you silly people who didn't pre-register will have to settle with a black-and-white booklet. You don't want that, do you?
So if you haven't pre-registered and want that pretty booklet, GET TO REGISTERING! It's absolutely free and there is no reason not to.
Information on the Secret Event has been added! (Not too secret, then, is it?) It's a convention-wide game for all congoers! Check it out, and be sure to be at Opening Ceremonies! (11 a.m. Saturday)
Finally, a small note. We have recently learned that Relay for Life will be occurring on the same dates as Kami-Con, just like last year. This means that many roads will be detoured and getting to the convention via GPS or online directions may be difficult. We will do our best to direct you to the convention, but please be aware that some roads will be closed.

Some more guests for you fine Kami-Con Kami-Congoers! Returning for an encore performance is the Geek Comedian, Aaron Pabon! Entering the fray is the lovely Otaku Fusion Bellydancer, Seraphina! And our Musical Guest is the talented pianist, Lisa Ray, popular for her piano performances of anime and videogame music!
Also added is the Light vs Dark Dodgeball event! Pick your side and fight for the gym battle of the century!
Furthermore, the Maps / Location page now has info pertaining to navigating to and around the con! Start making your travel plans!

Happy New Year, people!
It's been a long break, but the Kami-Con staff is back in action and going full force! We're going to be cranking out updates here on the site and finalizing the design.
Also, there were some slowdown issues with the forums, which have been fixed. If you were trying to get on the forums but were unable, now's your chance! Come say hi!
